Overcome to Achieve!!

“It’s not what you achieve in life that matters, it’s what you overcome.” Many have achieved greatness from what they’ve overcome, like Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Michael Jordan. I feel like I’ve overcome so much, but achieved so little, that everything I’ve tried to achieve at has slowly crumbled beneath toward the push towards its success. Maybe I’m a failure I’ve said too myself or maybe I’m just worthless. But I then say to myself, you can’t give up Rashid, you’ve overcome so much to get to where you are. The feelings that I will always have nothing & lose sways in my thoughts. The only thing that’s gets me by Is her …. She’s always there to pick me up when I fall down, she may not love me the way I love her, but she one of the most influential people in my life, she may not be mine or love me at all. But she’s has truly changed me as person giving me hope to achieve not just for me, but now for her.

The first time!!

Girl the first time I looked into your eyes I was mesmerized, sucked Into an internal trance realization that your the one. I was always afraid to love till the day I met you. I will always remember first time i heard your voice, your sweet accent on the other end of the phone, shy and scared to talk to me. That laugh of yours that rang in my ears with a melody of its own. Time passing talking too you for hours, a smile brought to my face that nothing could of tear down. The paused moment you went from being my friend to my best friend, my love, my other half , my ride or die. The first time I saw that beautiful smile & gorgeous face of yours all I could do was gaze at your beauty before me... You giggling & asking me what I'm staring at , only able to respond with a few words "Thank You Jesus". I was starstruck!! I knew then & there I had met a Goddess a women beyond me, her beauty so divine, her personality like no other, & a heart so pure!!
